A large corner pub of Greene King, marked as a Meet & Eat venue which suggests some sort of middle market dining pub; nope it’s a typical rough town centre pub. U shaped with perhaps a lounge to the left and definitely a public bar to the right. Banq... [more>]

There’s a flagstone walkway with high tables up either side that run along the side of the Oakes Barn to the entrance near the end of the building. The well decorated bar on the rear wall supports six hand pumps that were drawing Oakham’s JHB and Gre... [more>]
