The Rose, Biggleswade

A fairly smart venue for live music etc., lacking the usual grungy feel of such places. Although the exterior looks historic, there is not much trace of the 1899 pub inside. Opposite the bar is a slightly-raised stage, with a high-tabled room behind leading to a covered patio at the rear. Just TT Landlord on handpump - condition fair - and not much else of note on the bar.

Called into this pub yesterday and found only a couple of ales on. We chose the Adnams Ghostship which was not in the best condition.
