Stratton House Hotel, Biggleswade

A smart small hotel bar in a dark blue decor, featuring the Saddle & Spoke restaurant alongside. It has only been an hotel since 1981, being originally a private mansion then commandeered for war use before becoming council offices, so no pub heritage to speak of. Outside there are a few tables in a roadside patio to the front and side. Just Timmy Taylor Boltmaker on handpump, in good condition, and with brews from Lacons and Tiny Rebel on the keg taps. Pleasant enough if you want to go a bit upmarket.
