Princess of Prussia, E1

Two bar narrow pub with an outstanding Truman, Hanbury & Buxton tile work detailed front. Inside doesn’t disappoint either with old board floors, banquette seating at Britannia tables and lots of dark wood. Lots of etched glass as well. A mass of pictures and photos as decor, even horse brasses in the back room. Four pulls on the front counter but on this occasion just with Spitfire and a decent Whitstable Bay. There’s also two T bars of not dreadful stuff and a rear garden.

I was sure I'd been in here at some point in the past but once inside it seems I hadn't. A very nice exterior with an equally nice interior with wood panelling throughout, the downside for me is that it's a Shepherd Neame pub, not beers I tend to seek out, however there was a little more variety than I usually encounter, backing up the regularly seen Whitstable Bay was the not so often spotted Bishops Finger and Creekside. It's a nice pub and worth the visit.
