The Nutshell, Bury St. Edmunds

Well known contender for smallest pub in the UK and the downstairs area is about 8 feet by 16 feet with hard bench seating all round, a small table and the little counter fitted in it’s tight. Two pulls with the IPA and Abbot from down the road plus a low T-bar of four national kegs. Small but with lots of decorative stuff including the mummified cat in a plastic box, a mummified rat and banknotes for wall paper where there’s no windows or panelling. My Abbot was a bit iffy.
