The Horseshoes, Nuneaton

There's refurbishment ongoing here, even as I drink (and you can smell the DIY!). 3 of the 4 pumps are offering up Everard's brews (Tiger plus two specials), as well as a couple of ciders. A few crafty options extend the range beyond your Madri and whatnot. The Horseshoes is a trek, or traffic-delayed bus in my case, from the bright lights of central Nuneaton, though you need to check the opening times (4 o'clock today, for example). It's good for a pint or two and was proving popular with a local crowd at 5pm on a Thursday afternoon in late January.

On the ring road - no entry from the front door - access is from the rear car park. Looks like it is a Everards House - no signage on the front - it simply says "real food and beer" but it was just Everards on Cask. The Tiger was in fine condition. Low clientele count on a Saturday afternoon
