The Red Lion, Wetherby

Another reopened Sam Smith's pub, totally anonymous from the front with the pub sign facing the main road at the side, in what was the car park but is now a tabled outdoor area. There is a plain-ish public bar to the left, although with an interesting squared lino(?) floor, with a more comfortable lounge on two levels to the right, all very traditional of course. As with their other reopenings it has been spruced up and looks very tidy inside. Thankfully the Old Brewery Bitter remains on handpump and it was in excellent condition.

The Red Lion is a stone built pub that is sin the middle of Bramham. Once inside the pub has tow separate rooms, the lounge to the right is split in to three areas, the front area is small and square shaped where there is some bench seating, there is a raised area to the front right which is up two steps, the seating is normal tables and chairs, all areas are carpeted and the room has a cosy feel to it,there is a smaller oblong shaped bar room to the front left. This pub is a Samuel Smiths tied house, there was one real ale on which was Old Brewery Bitter, this was a very nice drink. I thought this was a very pleasant pub to have a drink in.
