The Ramble Inn, Tooting, SW17

Visited 23/09/24 No cask. Just keg offering of Guinness, Sharps Atlantic Pale Ale, Carling, Coors, Madri, Worthington CF, Aspall cider and a lager called the Ramble Special, provenance unknown. Rectangular venue away from the front door with bar counter against right-hand wall in rear half of the venue. You would classify this as an Irish sports pub with half a dozen screens on the walls showing evening racing on Sky and Racing TV. Seating is via some church pews along the wall opposite the bar counter and some well used tables in front thereof with a mish mash of dining style chairs. Same table along the bar counter wall in the front of the venue add a little additional seating capacity. The venue was busy early evening with 100% male attendance all similar age to me. There is a quiz every Thursday evening where I would imagine there would be a sport round or two. Small seating area out the back that probably fulfils the need of smokers here!

Small pub/bar looks like converted from a shop. Very friendly place. Both staff (Mel) and customers make you feel like you are a regular, even if it is your first visit. Guinness poured to perfection.A must visit if you are in the area.
