The Brunswick Inn, Derby

A large multi roomed pub and brewery in an interesting triangular corner building. The rooms are separated by partition walls with windows so you can easily spot free seating. Close to the station and with a lot of railway pictures on display, this is very much a railway pub. On the day of my visit a small but effective open fire was keeping the customers warm. Lots of real ales on offer and I went for their own Brunswick Triple Hop which was good (NBSS 3.5). The place was busy and this caused the staff to be efficient but they didn’t have time to be chatty. A really interesting pub and I could happily spend a long time here. If I’m back in Derby I will return (date of visit 12th February 2026).
