The Flowerpot, Derby

I've been here before but it's been more than 10 years and I didn't write a review, so here I am. I went for Whim Hartington IPA from a line up of eight hand pumps of which one was not on. Unfortunately it was a bit old, with a slight haze and a stale flavour. (If I'd drunk it, it would have been with resentment, which would make it Poor on the NBSS ratings.) Fortunately it was changed with alacrity for a Very Good (not far off Excellent) Bishops Farewell 4.6% from Oakham. I didn't explore beyond the pleasant front room, which has plenty of autumn sunshine through the big windows and the glazed front door. I must try to come here more often. (It's a 3pm opener in the week, 12 noon Friday and the weekend.)
