The Knave of Clubs, Shoreditch, E1

Visited 11/03/25 Two cask beers, both Allsopp's, the Best Bitter and the Pale Ale. Keg was Guinness, a hazy session IPA from Northern Monk called A Little Faith, Estrella, FreeDamm, Double Diamond lager, Budvar, K1664, the Dalston Sunrise from 40ft, their own branded Knave of Clubs lager, an IPA from Purity, Jupa from Five Points, and an apple cider. This is a recently (at time of visit) opened venue on the site of previous bars here. Inside it is bare boarded apart from some stone tiles around the bar counter with the bar counter against the left-hand wall and it benefits from a corner location with large windows looking onto the main road and a busy side street. The open kitchen is at the rear of the venue and seating options is via variety of tables, tall tables, stools at the bar counter and a few ledges, with some banquettes under the windows. Some of the ceramic glazed tiling has been retained to the left of the bar counter under three large, patterned mirrors. Some framed photos of old venue activities adorn the walls.
