Lord Hop, Nuneaton

Excellent micro-pub with an apparent total of three tables (although a larger room is available upstairs for busy periods), but a counter with nine handpumps. Six of these were on when I visited, offering four interesting beers - First Chop Hop, Lord Barker from Gun Dog, Hopback Haka and Leatherbritches Raspberry Belter (£3.00, and thankfully not over-flavoured) - plus a couple of cask ciders (with four more in some other draught form also listed). Well worth seeking out.

As noted below this is a "proper" micropub with no music or TVs and it didn't appear to sell any spirits. It was originally a nail bar and the lower room is about average size for a micropub. I didn't investigate upstairs. There were 4 beers available, Castle Rocxk Black Gold, Fernandes Barley Promise, Kirkstall Pale and Thornbridge Flora & The Griffin. I went for the Barley Promise (£3.00) and Flora & The Griffin (£3.60) both of which were excellent. I thought this was a very good micropub.
