The 212, Leeds

In the ground floor of one of the new buildings and next to Sainsbury’s. There’s a front patio with Veltins umbrellas and picnic benches, the inside is a bit unexpected although the band posters in the vestibule were a clue. Slightly wild paint job and an industrial ceiling. The floor is reclaimed boards, the furniture uncomfortable plastic chairs at tall metal frame tables or gym forms at fold up tables. The counter is rear left with a group of seven solos, partly from Kirkstall plus national brands. At the end is a Veltins ceramic but the beer from it was excretable. Unisex toilet in the corner under the stairs, this is decorated in a mix of fake and real graffiti.
