A beautifully preserved heritage interior, with the multi-room layout almost unchanged from the early 20th century. Around the bar are some amazing tiles and glass screens, some of which have been treated to the 21st century's idea of decorative excellence: grey paint. Other than that it's perfect. Oh, and there's no real ale. And the juke box seems to have been set to play loud, thumping and tedious. But apart from that...
