E TA left this review about Azuro
Previously a sports bar and restaurant called Lashings, Azuro is now just a bar with a tiled round dance floor in the centre. There are freshly cooked pizzas available, but these are provided by a separate business which also works from the property. It has become more pub-like than previously, though the lack of cask ale and retention of night club-style décor mean it’s still not quite there. The young staff were friendly enough, and the pizzas were good value compared to local pizza restaurants. There is a pool table in the front bar, and there are multiple TV screens in the main bar area. On tap are Madri, Guinness, Carling, Thatcher’s Gold, Staropramen, Stella and Rekorderlig. It’s an interesting idea, a modern pub concept with a growing cadre of young locals. I’m not sure I’d want to spend a whole evening here though, though introducing cask ale would be a good step forward.

Strongers . left this review about Lashings
As I approached Lashings I was sure that I had previously seen the distinctive logo on the hanging sign outside and the posters in the windows. Whilst I was tucking into a half of one of the limited draught products on offer I remembered that I used to know a bloke who helped organise events for Lashings Cricket Club. I remember that they had ex professionals that would play for them and they were (probably still are) a celebrity cricket team. There were no famous faces during my recent midweek evening visit as I was the only customer. Maybe it gets busier later at night as I was led to believe that the doors close at 6am everyday, ouch!
The interior consists of a dining type area to the right and a bar to the left where a plasma screen can be found that was showing muted Sky Sports News. There was some generic music playing in the background and I noticed a sign advertising all mains for £6.
I prefer a proper boozer so I do not plan to revisit anytime soon.
