Old Boots left this review about Arabian Horse
At the north end of the long village it’s a white painted pub slightly hidden if approaching from the south. It sits on what was the Great North Road and is I think the only pub of its name in the country, the sign outside agrees. Inside are a narrow front and rear bar with a sitting area at the very back. The bars are serviced from a central servery although only the front one dispenses beer, there are two unclipped pulls and a Theakston’s mild fount on the rear counter. There's a games machine in here too. Three pulls in the front bar with Theakstons Best, Ossett Blonde and a very decently kept Landlord, also an horseshoe and three solos have the usual Guinness, cider, lager line-up with John Smith’s smooth for the challenged. Traditionally decorated and furnished, buff walls where plastered, low wooden furniture with banquettes. The large fireplace in the front bar is particularly impressive.
