David Walton left this review about The Little Yellow Door
Visited 07/10/26. Visited previously 22/11/23.
No cask. Keg offering of the Hop Property lager and the Honey I'm Homebrew APA both from Coalition. Reasonably interesting offering by bottle also.
Seating out the front on a quiet street for the area via regular patio style colourful tables and chairs. Inside the yellow painted front door, the venue is bare boarded with a lot of ruggery! The bar counter is in the rear right-hand corner and a row of yellow painted stools along the short length of the bar counter. There is a large table in the front right-hand corner served by a dark green fabric banquette along the wall and regular chairs around the other side of the table, seating around ten in total. Slightly raised area to the left of the entrance with a mix of colourful fabric sofas and occasional chairs, another large table in the rear left-hand corner served by eight or so yellow painted metallic chairs. Bit of a living room feel with a large glitter ball suspended from the ceiling and an array of starburst style mirrors on the walls. No screens and a suitably funky music soundtrack on my visit. There is a large bare boarded area downstairs, again styled as a living room vintage sofas around the perimeter and occasional tables, suspect the large uncluttered main floor space serves as a dance floor on busy evenings.
