David Walton left this review about La Familia

Visited 10/06/26. Visited previously as Barrio Soho on 02/02/22.

No cask. Keg here was just Madri augmented by a range of beers by bottle and can.

Long narrow, shop fronted venue with block wood flooring. Tall tables served by tall stools down the right-hand side with a drinking ledge served by the same tall stools beyond that before the bar counter in the rear right-hand corner. Inside the entrance on the left-hand side is a flight of stairs down to the basement dining area and then beyond that on the ground floor some regular tables ahead of a drinking ledge in the rear left-hand corner opposite the bar counter. A single screen was switched off on my visit, sound provided by an entertaining Latin soundtrack. Ostensibly a restaurant but they do accept drinkers. Not much on offer on that front so lowly rated as a drinking destination but looks more promising as a dining venue if you fancy some Mexican food.
