Old Boots left this review about The Canary
Housed in half a dozen stacked shipping containers on the side of Leeds Dock just outside the Royal Armouries. Just inside is the counter with its rank of six keg taps, a couple from Kirkstall, an own label lager, Asahi and of course Guinness. Cocktails are also a bit of a thing here. Seating on the periphery is in booths with stools arranged all round the square servery. There’s piped music and a brace of big screens on sport, ladies playing football was on during my visit. Dockside views from the back and an upper terrace overlooks the dock. A kitchen at one end pervades the gaff with cooking smells. Toilets, labelled “washroom”, are at the far left end on either side.
