Colin Walker left this review about Innis & Gunn Brewery Taproom

The Tap Yard on West Nile Street opened on 10th July 2026 and has taken over the former Innis & Gunn Taproom site. There is another related Tap Yard less than 15 minutes’ walk away at 17 Bell Street in Merchant Square. The pub classes itself premium sports bar and restaurant. There are 19 screens, 11 private bookable booths with individual screens where you can choose your own sport and 18 draught taps. At the far end of the pub there is a Guinness Self Pour machine. It works by tapping your contactless card or device on the terminal to authorize the transaction and unlock the station. Then place your glass under the nozzle, and the machine automatically measures and dispenses the exact volume of Guinness, pacing the pour to handle the nitrogen mix and iconic settle without requiring a bartender. The beers on the counter at the time of visiting 24th Aug 2026 were – The Tap Yard their own brewed lager – Prava – Madri – Staropramen – Tennent’s – Guinness – Jubel Beer with Peach – Disco Forklift from Drygate Brewery – Caffrey’s Black Stout – Huch]k a Back NEIPA (New England IPA) from the Salt Beer Factory – Alpacalypse Session IPA also from the Salt Beer factory in Partnership with Molson Coors – Budvar – Aspall Cyder – Outcider Apple Cider – Blue Moon Belgian White – Damm Lemon Beer with Lemon.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Innis & Gunn Brewery Taproom

BrewDog-style brewery taproom, very quiet when I visited (but that was on a Monday lunchtime). With 20 of the 24 keg taps on the bar-back in active use, there was a great range of different styles of their own beers and those from Inveralmond, Campervan and a range of other guests. After the usual dithering, I went for the I&G Caribbean Rum Cask (£5.25 for schooner), which was interesting but which might have been even better if not so cold?
