My least favourite of the 3 taprooms along this stretch. In my opinion it's rather more functional than it's near neighbours and the fact that they specialise in Sours and Saisons means the beer isn't to my taste either. I ended up having a pint of Manchester Union lager which was fine. I won't bother with this one again.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Balance Brewery Taproom
With its taproom located in one of the Piccadilly station north-side arches, this micro-brewery specialises in mixed fermentation using oak barrels for ageing (visible at the back beyond the compact bar counter). Limited seating, but this is a bit less functional than most such spaces. Six craft beers on tap, including three of their own: Saison de Maison 7 (£4.95, half), Jam 2023 and the Empty Chair table saison. The style of beer won't be to everyone's taste, but it's certainly an interesting place.
