Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about No.3-Sharrow

Micro-pub sized taproom for the local Loxley Brewery, and quite a basic one at that. Limited seating at chunky wooden furniture, with a few more stools along the south-facing front window ledge. Three of their own cask ales - Fearn, Revill (£4.50) and Bitter Ol' Bill Shakespeares - on the handpumps, with others and several guests on the seven craft beer keg taps on the bar-back.

Quite enjoyed our visit here, as the customers were pretty much down to earth and the barman was friendly and chatty. He didn't mind handing out a couple of samples and thanks to him I went for the Vault City special Poire Belle Helene, a pear and chocolate flavoured sour, which was excellent and was priced at £6 a pint for a 5%. There was two cask from Loxley and about 7 keg.

A micropub owned by local Loxley brewery, with three of their cask beers taking turns on the bar. On the bar back are seven keg taps with three regulars (Dortmunder Vier, Loxley Black Dog and a South West Orchard cider). I went for the stout, not realising it was a milk stout - it is not a nitrostout, so was poured headless and slightly fizzy, which is not what we have been conditioned to expect in a stout. I also had the Cascade on hand pump, which was smooth and delightful in comparison (NBSS 3.5 or 4). Some subdued background music was playing and there were a couple of electric guitars hung on the unsmoothed wood planking on the wall (not playing).

It was quiet at 2:30 on a winter afternoon, less than a month after it opened, which is understandable. I'm not a big fan of Loxley beers, so although I wouldn't mind calling in again I'll swerve the keg stout in future.
