A third incarnation for this local chain, after the original in Tring and seconf coming in Aylesbury. There's kind of a clue in the name, as beer options are either keg or bottle-only, although I had a Strata-hopped version of Kernel Pale Ale when I was last here. Located opposite the more-traditional White Swan this has a woody seating area upon entry with the bar up a step and against the right-hand wall, with only narrow space in front, so you've got a belly, you'd need to suck it in if it got crowded in here. Additional seating upstairs and a generous 'south-facing' terrace out back.
