David Walton left this review about The Lucky Goat
Visited 24/06/26.
No cask. Keg offering of a trio from Camden (Pale, Hells and Eazy IPA), Modelo, Mahou, Guinness, Lucky Saint, Aspall.
Newly opened (at date of visit) games orientated bar. There is some pavement seating out the front on Watling St. The bar area just inside the entrance is bare boarded along the right-hand wall if you enter on Bread St. Attractive design, looks retro. A few tall standing tables in front of the bar counter with a banquette in tube seat fabric serving small tables and leather chairs the other side thereof facing the bar counter. To the far end of the bar counter is a karaoke area opposite the opening to another area having a shuffleboard, pool table, and an air hockey game. Some leather banquettes around a part of the perimeter serving regular tables with the same chairs as in the bar area. Also, some drinking ledges served by tall, backed stools in this area. Beyond that there is another sport orientated area with another pool table and a couple of illuminated dart boards and similar seating configurations. Didn't see any obvious screens and a decent music soundtrack playing, a bit folky in places. There are some retro arcade games at the rear of the venue by the bathrooms.
