E TA left this review about Many Hands Brew Co Taproom
A couple of rooms on the ground floor of the former Tonedale textile mill have been taken over by the Brewery as its taproom, though the Brewery itself is some distance away. It has the feel of a micro in many ways. The Tap shares the floor and the facilities, including toilets, with other businesses, and it feels quite labyrinthine. The bar is is a small square room, timber floored, with a rough wooden servery in one corner, all very post-industrial. There are school benches, cinema seats and various tables. Two other rooms have tables and chairs that can be used by Taproom customers, though you have to go and seek them as they’re not adjacent. The full range of Many Hands craft ales was on tap, plus a keg guest, Quantock’s Radicle. Also available was Sheppey’s Cloudy Cider, the best option as far as we were concerned. There was a fridge full of other breweries’ beers and ciders in bottles and cans. No hot food was available. There was a small dog in a cage by the bar, while other dogs seemed welcome. The barmaid was chatty and friendly. It only opens on Friday nights and at weekends, so unless I happen to be here for some other reason I’m unlikely to revisit, but I’d be happy to if the opportunity arose.
