Pint of Long Man Long Blonde.

Two hand pumps dispensing Long Man Long Blonde and Harvey's Sussex Best. Keg offering of Guinness, Madri, K1664, Leffe Blonde, Stowford Press, Staro, Carling and Alpacalypse.

A room filled with regular tables, bucket style armchairs and small benches, all on a maroon velvet matching carpet and which continues through the venue in all areas including right up to the bar counter (ie no skirt). The bar counter is up a couple of steps from this entry seating area and is along the right-hand wall, dark wood with tall stool seating along its length. There is a small dark wood panelled room immediately to the right of the steps and ahead of the bar counter, very much a dining space with dark wood larger tables and chairs. There are some banquettes along the left-hand wall opposite the bar counter serving regular tables and there a few small tables dotted around the front and rear of this space. There is a dining space down a couple of steps at the rear of the bar area, very light and warm on my visit owing to the rear part being of conservatory like construction. There is a rear paved small beer garden with regular picnic style benches. No obvious screens and plenty of nautical memorabilia not surprisingly. A decent, mod music-based soundtrack made for a pleasant stop and the venue has a nice old world pub sort of feel.
