Large place that looks like it's been recently taken over. Whitewashed walls, wood effect bar from the mid-2000s and some newly upholstered banquettes. Heineken bunting everywhere. 6 pumps with only one clipped, Bass, which it turned out hadn't been available from some time. Company: a down at the mouth Indian barman, a guy from the brewery trying to fix the wifi and local radio - I was the only customer at half 2 on a Thursday and it wasn't hard to see why. Chugged my ropey half of Guinness and got gone.

Top pub with distinctly seperate bar and lounge areas. Recently started doing a guest real ale to compliment Bass. Large screen tv in lounge, pub is the only place in Oadby where you are guaranteed to have the rugby on.
