It appears as though the Pub Co have a monopoly on Lark Lane - I believe they also own the Green Man and Bookbinders.
Large pub, which I would have investigated without the prompt from being in the 2027 Good Beer Guide. Immaculate inside, with lots of wood and nick nacks around a central bar.
I assume they made the guide from the amount of cask ales available. Never a good thing, when on a Tuesday afternoon, there is not a single other punter. The Green Man opposite (which I will review) having all the afternoon drinkers.
At least three pale ales noted (no need!) and my Three Swords from Kirkstall Brewery was on the turn, with that vinegary/acidic smell and taste.

Really liked it in here, they've done a lovely job refurbishing this fine old pub, part of the 1936 Pub Co. Bar faces you on entrance and it's very impressive. There's multi seating areas all around the pub and a small outside area. Black and white tiles in front of the bar area, it's a huge pub with a traditional style interior. 8 handpumps, 7 ales and one cider. Ales on offer were Kirkstall Three Swords, TT Landlord & Golden Best, Ossett Butterley, Theakston Best Bitter, White Rat and Salopian Shropshire Gold. Prices were fine at £4.30 a pint. Staff were friendly and welcoming, will defo be returning here.
