Climbing the steps up to the entrance of All Bar One reveals a very high-ceilinged bar with serving counter along the left wall and high tables along the right. In the rear half of the pub are two levels of standard seating and a couple of long tables. I didn’t see a television, but there was some background music playing. The bar is stocked with premium draught and the service was polite. I have been is worse ABO’s, but I did visit on a quiet Wednesday afternoon before the usual braying after work crowd herded in.

An exceptionally crowded, noisy McBar with no real ale. There is a mezzanine dining area, but it was unreachable without fighting our way through the huddled Peroni-swilling masses. WiFI was available in the doorway, so we used it to find the next pub.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about All Bar One
Well located for commuters, being sited directly opposite Cannon Street station, but the soulless corporate interior could really be anywhere... Unfortunately, they have ditched the two handpumps since my last visit three years ago, and this chain's previous efforts to adopt a more adventurous range of keg beers also seems to have largely evaporated. Had to make do with an overpriced pint of Meantime Pilsner (£4.85). NB - If you go in at a busy time, try the small mezzanine for a quieter spot.
