No cask here seemingly these days – the three hand pumps on the front side of the bar counter unclipped and hidden behind a wooden box containing the crips offering! Fairly bland keg offering of Noretti, Amstel, Guinness, Heineken, Madri, Neck Oil, Inch’s and BT’s Bones lager,

Small two-level L-shaped on ground floor venue on the concourse in Victoria station near the lower numbered platforms. There is a small amount of seating at the front on the concourse. Inside it is bare boarded apart from a ceramic tiled skirt around the bar counter which is along the right-hand wall just inside the entrance. Some tall tables up the front part of the left-hand wall, the first and the last bookended by some high leather banquettes, otherwise served by tall stools. Similar leather banquettes along the rear wall serving regular tables with regular chairs and a single regular table in the corner served by regular chairs only. There is an upstairs mezzanine seating area accessed by a staircase in the rear right-hand corner. There is a door at the rear to the side of the staircase directly onto the street outside. No screens and a radio-based music soundtrack on my brief revisited to respond to a few emails on my laptop! Average rating based on its convenience as a stop in station when not enough time to linger over a pint in the JDW, better if cask restored.
