Probably once a nice old pub now modernised in mixed styles, copper topped tables and old settles clashing with modern cow hide covered fixed seating. Bleached pine and cream woodwork against trendy shades of grey woodwork, nautical lighting here, deco-ish there. In short a bloody mess. Two pulls, one with a reversed Bombardier clip the other a house rebadge of some dross from Marstons. I was charged £2.10 for a half of this mighty 3.6% ale and it was a woeful short measure, asking for a top up was a total pantomime ending up with a gnats gonad more volume. Rubbish.

The City is next door but one from the Half Moon.
Once inside there is an area to the front which has comfy looking chairs and a pew seat to the front, the bar is down one step to the rear right, there are tall tables and chairs opposite the bar,the TV was showing the Everton v Arsenal game.
There were four real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Adnams Mosaic which went down well, the other beers were Butcombe Haka,Theakstons Best and Deuchars IPA.
The pub was not that busy on my Saturday afternoon visit, background music was playing.
This is a decent enough pub to have a drink in.
