Strongers . left this review about The White Hart

The White Hart is a Grade II* listed 500-year-old timber framed building in large grounds that include a barn at the rear that is used for functions. There are 13 rooms, including a bridal suite, in a separate block that runs up the right-hand side of the grounds. The rustic bar has low ceilings with even lower timber beams, and all the tables were set for dining. There’s a small U-shaped serving counter on the rear wall that supports a limited draught selection of Modelo Especial, an offering from Camden Town Brewery, I think two ciders and Guinness. I had a couple of pints of Guinness, the first was served in a tall Nethergate Brewery Glass and the second in a short and wide Camden Town Brewery glass. To be fair I was part of a 100+ strong party that, before vacating to the barn, was having pre-drinks while the pub was closed to the public between lunch and dinner services, so I can understand the lack of Guinness branded glasses. I found the service to be very professional, so if I was looking for function venues, or maybe a restaurant this place would be a consideration. But I wouldn’t return just for a beer, and to be honest I’m not sure if you’d be welcomed with open arms if you did just want a beer. Rated as 5/10 for the pub experience.

Seems to be more of a wedding/function venue than a pub/restaurant these days. It hadn't re-opened following lockdown on our visit on July 11th.
