Visited 23/09/26. Visited previously as Browns (Bar & Brasserie) on 02/11/21.
Three hand pumps on the front side of the bar counter offering Harvey's Sussex Best, the Three Swords extra pale ale from Kirkstall and TT LL. Keg offering of Pillars Pilsner and Haus Lager, La Chouffe blonde, Double Diamond pale ale, Konig Ludwig Weissbier, Red Fin cider, Guinness, Verdant Lightbulb, the Brogue Irish Red Ale from the Rye River Brewing Co (a new one for me), the Virtuous Session IPA from Kirkstall and the Doree Gold Chimay. For a City of London pub that is not a JDW, a pretty good range from my perspective.
Grand new venue in the heart of the City. Bare boarded with the bar counter a cut out and providing service on two sides off the right-hand wall and with a mosaic tile skirt around its perimeter. Plenty of standing space around the bar counter but otherwise the floor space is fully occupied by regular tables and chairs plus some drinking ledges with tall stools. Several booth tables also. On leaving I spotted some fabric banquettes around the frontage either side of the entrance serving regular tables. Extremely busy on my later evening visit, no obvious screens or music, if there was totally drowned out by the chatter of a very City orientated attendance. A good addition to the area for a drinks only customer nevertheless.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Browns Bar & Brasserie
Modern bar / restaurant with the counter along one side and a large mezzanine dining area (with another small bar) at the back. Anonymous furniture and decor, as you would expect from the chain. Surprisingly prompt service on a busy Thursday evening. Lots of shiny keg fonts, but there are two handpumps dispensing Doom Bar and Pride (£3.60).

hondo . left this review about Browns Bar & Brasserie
The building used to be the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. Interior spread over 2 floors and not as ornate as some Browns I've been in. Keg,continental keg and "craft keg" served.
