Really good corner pub with six cask beers plus three ciders. Front room extends a long way back, leading to the toilets and the Latham Lounge, while a small area at the very front is half-screened from the bar area. I went for the local and popular Brimstahe Trappers Hat, which was in very good condition (NBSS 4), though I would prefer it if it was actually bitter rather than just called a bitter. The sound system was playing some of my least favourite songs, like Mr Blue Sky, Starman and Bat Out of Hell. Those reading this review and who like these tracks - and bear in mind that I know who you are - will no doubt be flocking to this pub asap.

GBG 2023 entry. Last review sums it up - slightly shabby un-chic.
Busy on a sat afternoon and I'll put this down to the prices. A perfect Ossett White Rat had to be complimented by 2 packets of dry roasted to meet the £5 min card spend.
