Steve C left this review about Walters
Walters is a square pub with four booths that sit under the leaded windows that are part of the mock Tudor frontage. There isn’t much more seating, so the pub feels a little bare. There is a function room advertised, as is live music from 17:00 on Sundays. Karaoke is held here on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The television was off with no signs for live sport. During my Wednesday afternoon visit there were some very boisterous locals in attendance who were listing to the jukebox which had been turned up to near maximum volume. Out the back is a smoking area with no furniture.
The small bar is stocked with standard keg and the two hand pumps were unused. I didn’t see any signs for food. I found the barman to be friendly, but this is a very basic boozer that I will leave to the locals in future.

Jeff Cheeseman left this review about Pestle & Mortar
New owners, refurbished and nothing like the previous description. Serves an assortment of cask ales; has a spacious lounge area downstairs with another floor dedicated to busier nights and to act as a function room which regularly plays host to live music and entertainment. Disabled access on the ground floor and a friendly atmosphere that welcomes all.

Alan Winfield left this review about Pestle & Mortar
The Pestle and Mortar is in the middle of Grimsby and it has a mock tudor frontage.
Once inside this pub i could only see the one room, the pub was quite busy and had a bit of a rough edge to it.
There were no real ales on the bar with the only bitter being John Smiths smooth so i had a Guinness.
