Visited 23/06/26. Visited previously 10/10/22.
No cask. Keg offering of Guinness, Alpacalypse, Madri and Pravha.
Swish hotel bar to the right of the entrance and reception area of Bailey's hotel right by Gloucester Road tube station. The bar counter is to the immediate right of the entrance and has some tall stool seating on a polished parquet flooring. There are some colourful patterned fabric armchairs over on the right-hand side by the large marble fire grate. Seating along the window wall and the left-hand wall looking out at the tube station via lime green velvet sofas and banquettes serving small square marble tables with the same patterned armchairs. There is a similar upholstered curved sofa to the immediate left of the entrance, and this corner hosts a large TV tuned into teatime programming on my visit. The walls are ornately wood panelled and the high ceiling ornately plastered. A bright mirrored backdrop to the bar counter made for a pleasant stay albeit very forgettable on the beer choices front, but then again recalling my previous visit here I couldn't have expected any different!

Graham Coombs left this review about Olive's Bar (Gloucester Hotel)
Upmarket bar and restaurant attached to The Bailey's Hotel and facing Gloucester Road tube station. Quite swish but no real ales, with John Smith's, Heineken and Amstel on keg.

Nick Davies left this review about Olive's Bar
Public bar of the Gloucester Hotel with separate entrance on Gloucester Road. It's the usual sterile hotel bar in what could be quite an atmospheric setting if they used a bit of imagination. With an early evening happy hour and Sky Sports advertised outside it's half heartedly trying to compete with the local Punch outlets and indeed if you don't want real ale you'll get a far more civilised time for much the same price. The Bombay Brasserie, one of the best Indian Restaurants outside India, is part of the same hotel.
