Another one of those multiple bar and food outlet places in a cellar at the rear of the town hall. The main bar is run by Vocation and there's also a small gin & cocktail thing to the right called the Staff Room which appeared to be closed on Sunday.... [more>]

3rd Brighton Bier outlet, originally advertised as more of a free house, but beer choice seemed much the same as their other pubs, with 3 of their own cask ales, plus 1 from Downlands. A good variety on the keg taps, including Rothaus and Stone plus ... [more>]

Approaching the Brunswick, I was struck by the sizeable beer garden. Entering the pub, I found a cool, laid-back, big room. The bar offered craft cask & keg, plus Peroni, Kozel, Urquell & Orchard Pig cider. My half of cask Downlands cask should have ... [more>]

New Year's Day reminds me that I actually spent New Year's in here with three friends back in '03 - how time flies! Judging by the photos, inside and out, the place has been subjected to much gentrification over the last 16 years and now looks rather... [more>]

A proper pub just round the corner from the seafront and pier. Seems popular for food. Nice open fire and friendly service. 4 ales on - Banks's Amber, Pedigree, Hobgoblin and Dragon Ale. I went for the latter which was excellent. Well worth a visit.

More of a local's pub really and it is a bit rough around the edges. Very cheap ( probably due to the Wetherspoons nearby). Only Brains SA available when I called for a quick half (£1.35). I last called in here in 2006 and it hasn't changed much!

Very busy when I called in. I couldn't see the pumps very well due to people sitting at the bar but there were at least 4 ales on including Welsh Pride and Mad Hatter. I went for Mad Hatter which was fine. Worth a visit.

Very impressive building which was once a theatre. Now a very busy Spoons. 5 guests on when I called including Brewhouse Chestnut Red, Wolf brewery Santa Paws, Rev James and Peerless Knee Buckler IPA. The 2 I tried were fine.

Attractive pub right by the Great Orme tram station. Hobgoblin, IPA and Abbots available when I called. The Hobgoblin was fine. I like the pub but I would have preferred a better choice of beers.

Nice little micropub which is bigger than it looks with some seating through the back. Excellent beer choice and the quality was superb. A must do if you are in town.
