The Bay Horse at 73 Bath Street has been closed for refurbishment and has reopened in Nov. 2025 with a new name of Seventy Three. There is food available. The pub still holds evening Karaoke and live entertainment 5 days a week. The pub still has its regulars when it was The Bay Horse, when talking to other patrons. When visiting early Aug. 2026, the beers on offer were Tennent’s lager – Magners Dark Fruit – Menabrea Lager – Innis & Gunn Session IPA – Guinness – Jeffrey’s Lager – Caledonia Best – Stella Artois – Magners Cider.
